DESCRIPTION: A bright aluminium, traditional, solar reflective coating suitable for application to bituminous roofing substrates.Ideal for: The protection against sun and weathering of roofs, particularly where bituminous, exposed steel and corrugated iron surfaces are encountered.Coverage Rates Approximately 5 – 10m² per litre per coat, depending upon the surface.Drying Time Up to 72 hours dependent on the ambient temperature.Method of ApplicationBy brush or airless spray.Application Instructions: · Surfaces should be clean, dry and free from dust and debris.· Freshly applied bitumen coatings should be allowed to weather for at least 3 – 5 days prior to the application of Aluminium Paint (Premium Grade).· For use on Roofing Felt we recommend you prime the surface prior to applying the first coat of Aluminium Paint (Premium Grade).· STIR THOROUGHLY BEFORE USENote:The appearance of a silver film on the surface of the paint after a short period of stirring does not signify that the paint is thoroughly uniform.It is advisable to stir for several minutes to ensure complete dispersion.Preference should be given to mechanical stirring.
