Bonding Plaster is a backing plaster, specially formulated for easy application to new walls as an undercoat, and for repairing old walls before skimming.

- Preperation: Ensure the surface to be smoothed is dry and free from grease, dust and loose particles. Cover nail heads with an oil/solvent based paint to prevent rusting. Do not apply at a temperature below 8°C or above 30°C. Mix thoroughly before use. Application: 1. Add approximately 500ml water per 1kg powder (50%) Mix by hand or mechanical whisk using clean water and equipment. The mixture should be applied within 50 minutes. 2. Roughly apply the coating in successive areas approximately 1m² using a coating blade or trowel to a maximum depth of 12mm. 3. Using a trowel or blade level the surface by distributing the coating evenly. 4. Product is ready to be over skimmed with plaster approximately 90 minutes after application dependent on the substrate and ambient conditions. Can be used as a one coat if polished up. 5. Wash tools in warm water before the coating hardens.

- Keep out of reach of children and animals. Inhalation of dust must be avoided. The work area must be ventilated or move to fresh air. A suitable face mask should be worn if sanding. Dust may be an irritant to eyes, sensitive skin or respiratory system. Contact should be avoided with eyes and skin. Suitable protection should be worn. If product comes in contact with eyes or skin, wash at once with clean water. In the case of eye contact, bathe eyes for 15 minutes. If irritation persists seek medical advice. Ingestion should be avoided. If ingested, rinse mouth with clean water and seek medical advice. Vomiting should not be induced
